What We Learned From The 2025 Automotive Interiors Expo
At the 2025 Automotive Interiors Expo, our team focused on one core mission—educating attendees about flocking and its role in modern automotive interiors. The event offered an ideal setting for meaningful conversations with engineers, designers, and manufacturers who were curious about how flock enhances both the function and feel of interior components.
Throughout the expo, visitors had the opportunity to physically interact with flocked materials, compare textures, and ask in-depth questions. These hands-on discussions provided valuable insight into what the industry still wants to learn about flocking and helped us better understand the challenges and goals of today’s interior design teams.
Megan Rossomme of EIS Fibercoating reflected on the educational value of the show:
“The Auto Interiors Show has always been a great opportunity for me to share my enthusiasm for flock with others. I love educating people about what flock is and the value it brings. Flocking is a small industry, so seeing potential growth and new ideas from those who show interest is always rewarding. Being at a trade show like this lets people feel the difference flocking makes—something that isn’t as easily communicated over the phone or through email.”
This year’s expo allowed us not only to teach, but also to learn—gaining new perspectives, hearing fresh ideas, and better understanding how flocking can continue to support evolving automotive interior trends.
